Silverstone: Draco Racing race 1 report

Saturday to forget at Silverstone: Berthon 3rd for long time on track, it was forced to retire after a contact, Leal out for problems after an exit from the track. Draco Team is now focusing on tomorrow

Bad saturday at Silverstone for the Draco drivers who can not finish the race, started instead very positively.

In qualifying this morning, Nathanael Berthon won the 5th place with 1:45.747, placing the Draco car with the number 1 in the third line of the starting grid. Julian Leal, with 1:46.921, started in the 9th row.

At the start of race one ugly incident between Lancaster slamming violently against Ricciardo and both drivers leave the scene. Nathanael Berthon then passes virtually on the podium in 3rd position. The Draco driver has in front of him only Guerrieri and Vergne for many laps until it is pressed by Albert Costa with whom he began a long duel. Then Costa pass the french driver and Berthon later, due to contact with Hartley, was forced to return to the pits. Leal returns to the pits for technical problems because after he went off the track, the oil temperature rose.

Draco Team bit now on tomorrow's race will start at 13.04. The starting grid will be decided in the qualifying session tomorrow morning. In race 2 there will be a different aerodynamic than today, with a heavier aerodynamic load, and a mandatory pit stop. The race will be live on Eurosport 2.
