Spa F3.5: Dillmann edges Nissany for Race 2 pole

Tom Dillmann collected his fourth Formula V8 3.5 pole of the season to kick off the second race at Spa-Francorchamps from pole position.

Similarly to most of the field, second-year driver Dillmann only had one flying lap in the second part of the session.

The Frenchman was one of three drivers to dip below the two-minute mark, and his 1m59.745s time was just enough to top the order.

Lotus' Roy Nissany fell only 0.016s short with third-placed Aurelien Panis also being less then a tenth slower.

SMP Racing driver Matthieu Vaxiviere ended up fourth, narrowly edging out Vitor Baptista and Louis Deletraz for the spot.

Alfonso Celis, despite leading the way before the mid-session pit stops, ended up only seventh, followed by Rene Binder, Matevos Isaakyan and Pietro Fittipaldi.
