For the 2009 season RC Motorsport will also be in the Italian F3.

"It is the time now!" - declares Cristiano Giardina - "we were out of the national championship for many years, but the great changes made by President Luigi Macaluso, Marco Ferrari and their staff convinced us and we believe there are the basis for rebuilding a strong and competitive championship.

"Now, the presence of skilled, competent and impartial technical and sportive management is a fundamental turning point for us and is the keystone which motivated us to return.

"Last years the Italian F3 made a step forward, the level was raised and initiative of Scuderia Ferrari was an historic event that will bring much prestige to the series, We just have to praise the skills and efforts by ACI-CSAI, on our side we will commit to let our Italian F3 series re-become one of the references where car manufacturers can select deserving drivers, as it has been for many years when in F1 there were dozens of Italian drivers.

"For RC, to be present in both European and Italian series, will be a benefit because the regulations are almost identical and the development of the cars will be constantly transferred from one category to another. About the drivers line up we have just started to look around but we have good contacts. "
