Imola, race one: Mancinelli win and pulls away in the classification
Second seasonal victory for Daniel Mancinelli in race one at Imola. The driver for Team Ghinzani, started from the pole position, kept the lead from the first to the last lap despite the repeated attacks from Cesar Ramos (BVM-Target), second under the chequered flag; Frederic Vervisch (RC Motorsport) completed the podium. In the top ten finished also Stephane Richelmi (Lucidi Motors), Jesse Krohn (RP Motorsport), Sergio Campana (Lucidi Motors), the couple of team Prema Junior composed by Edoardo Liberati and Andrea Caldarelli, Mattews Lee (Alan Racing Team) and Christopher Zanella (JD Motorsport).
Among the rookies, Kevin Giovesi (JD Motorsport), eleventh, and preceeded Gabriel Chaves (Euroitnernational) and Giacomo Barri (Ombra Racing). In the championship classification, Mancinelli pulls away reaching 59 points, Ramos follows at 51 and Richelmi with 41. Among the rookies, Giovesi tries to pull away at 79 points and has now a margin of twenty points on Chaves.
The event's programme will reach its conclusion this afternoon with race two, that will start at 18.30 local time and will have live coverage on Italian TV Nuvolari (SKY 218 and freeview).
