Zandvoort: two podiums for Ludwig Ghidi

Race 1

The first race of the 3rd event of the NEC in Zandvoort takes place on a sunny saturday

After a good start from the 2nd position, Ludwig took the lead already on the first lap. Even though having a broken flap on the frontwing which unbalanced his car, Ludwig Ghidi could make a gap to his opponents Jeroen Mul and Stuart Liroy. Nevertheless, a few laps before the end, understeer caused him to run wide and he went out on the grass right before the main straight. This put him into difficulties and he had got overtaken by Jeroen Mul and Stuart Liroy. Despite being off track Ludwig managed to control his car and came back on the track and took the 3rd place.

Race 2

The second race was raced under drizzly and damp conditions. Ludwig managed to keep his first place after the start followed by Mul and Stuart. Lap after lap, Ludwig increased the gap between himself and his 2 opponents.

By trying to follow Ludwig, the dutch driver, Mul went off the track and was overtaken by severals other drivers. Liroy Stuart received a drive through penalty for overtaking on the installation lap which cost him a lot of time. This enabled Mikkel Mac to take the 2nd place. After he got on Ludwig's tail a hard fight between the Danish and the Belgian driver. Ludwig was under pressure from Mac and decided to avoid any mistake, so he gave up the battle for the 1st place to consolidate his lead in the championship and his now leading with an advantage of 34 points.

Right now, Ludwig is already working with his team, engineers and mechanics for the next race which will take place in July at Oschersleben (D). Until then, he would like to thank his team, his manager, and his sponsors for the support and trust they put in them.
