Bianchi on pole, Bortolotti sixth in practice
Monza, 10 September -- Ferrari Driver Academy student Jules Bianchi took pole position in qualifying for the ninth round of the GP2 series, dominating the session, posting a time of 1.30.269. Starting alongside the Frenchman in tomorrow's first race will be his Art Grand Prix team-mate, Sam Bird (1.30.311) with Jerome D'Ambrosio in the Dams car third in 1.30.366. In the junior GP3 Series, taking place here in Monza as well as the GP2 event and the fourteenth round of the Formula 1 World Championship, Mirko Bortolotti, another young talent from the Maranello school, has just finished sixth in 1.44.707 in free practice at the wheel of one of three cars entered by the Addax Team. Fastest in this session, at the eighth round of the season, was Art Grand Prix's Esteban Gutierrex (1.44.331) ahead of Josef Newgarden (1.44.492) in the Carlin Motorsport car and Nico Muller (1.44.627) driving for Jenzer Motorsport.
