The Jaguar Formula E car will be run out of a specially provided pit garage at the London venue as it gears up for further private testing in July, before the mandatory public testing at Donington Park in August.
A source within the team told Motorsport.com this week that the car would "test in June ahead of the Battersea run".
The source added: "We are likely to have a British driver announced there, too. Someone who will do a very good job for us, someone who both Jaguar and Williams really believe in."
The source also indicated that the Jaguar Formula E car could have a shakedown run this month at Kemble airfield in Gloucestershire before further runs ahead of Battersea Park.
Anthony Davidson, Alex Lynn, Sam Bird and Adam Carroll have all been linked to roles with the Jaguar Formula E team.
It is believed that one of these drivers could be announced alongside a current Formula E frontrunner at Battersea Park in early July.
Jaguar did not comment when contacted by Motorsport.com this week.
The India-owned, Britain-based company has entered into a significant technical alliance with Williams Advanced Engineering, which currently supplies all Formula E teams with the homologated battery.
Several key engineering staff from WAE will hold technical management roles within the Jaguar Formula E team.
Motorsport.com revealed in March that Williams Advanced Engineering engineers had been stood down from collecting certain data from team cars.
The changes were implemented from the Buenos Aires ePrix onwards and a reduced WAE presence at the tracks has been enforced ever since.
