Gutierrez Tests with the Formula 3 Euroseries Champion Team

Nevers-Magny Cours, France -- The young Aztec talent, Esteban Manuel Gutierrez Gutierrez, tried out today in the historic French circuit of Magny Tours, along with the French ART Grand Prix team, in which British driver Lewis Hamilton participated in 2005, and German driver Sebastian Vettel in 2006. Esteban had the opportunity of working on every detail of the test with the talented team champion of the 2008 season, with whom he had great chemistry.

Gutierrez has had the opportunity of testing with two of the best Formula 3 Euroseries teams, ART Grand Prix and Mucke Motorsport. These tests have helped the Mexican driver in adapting to the Formula 3 car, which has a much greater aerodynamic load than other formula cars he's raced in, which makes it more difficult to handle. Also, Esteban has learned a great deal about the technical aspects in the different test drives he's made with both F3 Euroseries teams, as well as with Josef Kaufman Racing Team of the German F3.

"We've learned more and more in the different test drives we've made with F3 cars. I've had the opportunity of trying out with good teams, and with time I've become more confident with the car. Everybody at the ART Grand Prix team was very happy with my performance, in and out of the track. They gave me an exam in which I have improved, where I had significant progress, being able to adapt to the way the team works. We were very fast all day, despite the fact that I had never driven on this track. I can say that it was a very positive experience in every aspect," Esteban Gutierrez commented.

Esteban will return to Madrid, to continue preparing physically and to keep focusing on his participation in the Formula BMW World Final, which will take place December 5 through 7 of this year, in the Hermanos Rodriguez circuit in Mexico City. This is a very important event in the Mexican driver's professional career, for he will have the opportunity of racing in an international event, in front of all the Mexican fans.
