The 2017 year-end banquet was held at the Mont-Tremblant circuit and saw Konrad Czaczyk receive the champion’s trophy in the Pro category. Roman de Angelis ranked second, and Jacob Astren was third. Czaczyk also captured the 2017 Road to Indy Shoot Out prize, and Guillaume Archambault collected the title in the Pro Am category.

Exclusive Autosport was named 2017 Team of the Year and Jacob Astren was named 2017 Rookie of the Year.

The series for Formula 1600 open wheel racers also announced that four new drivers would be competing in the Kent class next season. The new drivers are Alexandre Légaré (Mygale), Martin Brousseau (Van Diemen), Serge Lessard (Van Diemen) and Shane Morten (Van Diemen).

The 2018 calendar will be made of six race meetings of three rounds each. There will be a total of just 17 races and not 18 as the June race (at the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada, if the talks are conclusive) would only stage one race. The races will be held at the Mont-Tremblant circuit, Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières and Calabogie Motorsports Park in Ontario.
