DRACO JUNIOR TEAM: The new challenge Draco for the Championship 2009

Big surprises in the Draco house for the 2009 championship. At the last GP of the season in the Catalunya circuit it was presented today, Saturday 18 October, through an official press conference, a new Team that compete next season in Formula Renault 2.0 Championship: the Draco Junior Team.

The main objective of the Draco team has always been to discover new young drivers and follow them on their journey towards the formulas above, creating, through the experience and skills that characterize the team, the real champions. So it happened so many times, such that 8 Draco drivers went into Formula 1, among which names the highest level as Barrichello and Massa. The challenge continues with a completely new team based on this objective, on which the Team Owner Draco believes in particular.

"I have followed and carry on many drivers - said Adriano Morini, Team Owner Draco - believing in their potential. Through our new team in Formula Renault 2.0 we try to identify new young talent who will have the opportunity to grow with us. A guarantee of this goal we decided to establish a major prize for the driver who win the championship Formula 2.0 with the Draco Junior Team. The young champion will become an official Draco Driver in the World Series 3.5 championship with a free season. A unique and very interesting idea to drive along the road of professionalism. "

The Team Manager of the new team will be Marco Rodriguez, currently manager of the Draco driver Marco Barba. "Our goal is to win from the first year - says Rodriguez - and to create new big champions. With the experience and talent of Draco Team, this is certainly possible."

The project that Renault is pursuing for years with their championship is based on its "path to the pyramid" in order to raise the category of drivers who can distinguish themselves during the season. The new team was welcomed with great pleasure and enthusiasm by the organization, ready to integrate it in the name of its mission.

The Team Manager Draco Nadia Morini has thanked Renault for the support shown. "The great family of Draco is expanding - said Nadia Morini - we will try new young drivers, we will build men, we will create champions."
