The first-ever LG Super Racing Weekend prize-giving was held in the luxurious Principe di Savoia hotel, in the centre of Milan, on Sunday evening. Barely two hours after the action finished on the track, teams, drivers and members of the organisation of the FIA European Touring Car Championship, FIA GT Championship, Eurocup Formula Renault V6, Renault Sport Clio Trophy and Renault Sport Clio Elf International Cup all gathered for cocktails, dinner and the awards ceremony.

A simple yet effective awards ceremony, punctuated by video clips, saw this year's Champion drivers, teams and manufacturers accept their trophies. There were also a number of special awards. Roberto Conti, a photographer for Italian agency Photo 4, took the 'Photo of the Year', with an unusual picture of a plane taking off in front of FIA ETCC grid at Anderstorp. JMB Racing driver Andrea Bertolini received the award for the Drivers Performance of the Year, both for his impressive tally of wins and pole positions, and for his rapid improvement over a relatively short motorsports career.

The promoters of the Brno and Monza events shared the trophy for the Promoter of the Year, for their excellence in running their respective rounds of the LG Super Racing Weekend.

The newly-crowned Champions were all on hand to receive their awards; Gabriele Tarquini, for the FIA ETCC, with second-placed Jorg Muller and third-placed Andy Priaulx. BMW won the Manufacturers title, ahead of Alfa Romeo and SEAT. In the FIA GT, Matteo Bobbi and Thomas Biagi won in the GT category, with their team-mates Fabrizio Gollin and Luca Cappellari second, and Enzo Calderari and Lilian Bryner third. BMS Scuderia Italia won the Teams Championship, followed by Lister Racing and Care Racing. In the N-GT category, Stephane Ortelli and Marc Lieb were victorious, with JMB Racing team-mates Fabrizio De Simone and Andrea Bertolini second and third respectively. In the Teams Championship, Team Maranello Concessionaires N-GT were third, JMB Racing second and Freisinger Motorsport took the title. Jose Maria Lopez won the inaugural Eurocup Formula Renault V6 title, ahead of Neel Jani and Kosuke Matsuura. ARTA-Signature won the Teams title ahead of DAMS and Victory by Cram. The Rangoni brothers dominated the Clio series, with Luca taking his fourth successive Trophy title, while Michael won the Clio Cup.

After celebrating the 2003 season, the evening finished with a look forward to 2004, with an exciting calendar, which includes the possibility of heading to far-flung locations such as Dubai, while adding circuits like Imola and Valencia (yet to be confirmed). It should be another exciting season for the FIA GT Championship, the FIA European Touring Car Championship and two Renault single-seater series, the Eurocup Formula Renault V6, and the Formula Renault 2000 cars.
