With the recent news of Ayrton Senna’s Toleman was up for sale, its hard to not scour the internet finding other historic gems.

And we did.

How about picking up Kimi Raikkonen’s 2000 Formula Renault chassis?

The Tatuus Formula Renault chassis was built in 2000, and purchased by Manor Motorsport.

The team campaigned a young and bright haired Kimi Raikkonen in the British Formula Renault Championship. He took the car and won 7 of the 10 races, taking home the championship.

The one aspect of this car that makes it a true gem, is that is was the final car he drove before moving over to Formula One full time with Sauber in 2001.

The car was also driven by another driver but was quickly retired. It was refreshed to its original configuration in 2005.

The car will be sold at no-reserve by Coys, an international auctioneering company at the Autosport International Racing Car Show Jan. 10.

More cars to find new homes

Among the other cars slated to be sold off the block are a 1998 Peter Knox Ex-Work Honda BTTC car, as well as a one of 500 homologation model of the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500. The car is numbered 479 of 500 and underwent a full restoration. The BTCC car is estimated to be worth between $100,000 and $120,000 while the RS500 between $55,000 and $66,000.
