For the 11th edition of the Rizla Racing Days that took place at the Dutch TT circuit of Assen this weekend 18 drivers from the Formula Renault NEC and Eurocup gathered for free practices, qualification and 2 races.

Due to a problem with the electrics of his single seater Ludwig had to stop his qualifying session after only 15 minutes and his result would remain to take the 6th place on the starting grid for both races.

On Saturday, the weather conditions were a really cloudy and threatening sky so all the teams were preparing for a wet race on rain tyres. But finally all the drivers started on slick tyres. Starting from 6th place on the grid, Ludwig was already 5th after one lap and was able to keep this place until the checkered flag.

On Sunday, some rain showers preceded the race and forced everyone to start with rain tyres in front of a public of 58 000 people. Starting from the same grid position as Saturday Ludwig managed to came back to the 5th place after the first lap. Shortly after a spin of Rogier de Wit (NL) caused a safety car situation on the track. A few laps after the safety car had left the track Ludwig overtook Jeroen Mul (NL) followed by Daniel De Jong (NL) who did the same. Then a fierce fight unfolded between Daniel de Jong and Ludwig which lasted until the very end of the race. But the Ludwig managed to keep his position and took the checkered flag before the Dutch driver. After the race a penality was given to Kevin Mirocha (D) which promoteded Ludwig to the 3rd place.

For now, the Belgian driver who is coming out for the Danish KEO Racing Team is leading the championship with 233 points followed by Mikkel Mac (DK) who has collected 210 points and in 3rd place is Jeroen Mul (NL) with 195 points.
