David Knise named executive vice president of 360 Racing

360 Racing, the global leader of immersive video broadcast technologies in motor sports, today announced that industry veteran David Knise has joined the company as executive vice president of worldwide operations.

In this newly created position, Knise will oversee all strategic business development initiatives, and will serve as a key strategist on all 360 Racing operations and business affairs. As a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team, Knise will report directly to 360 Racing CEO Dmitry Kozko.

"The addition of David's talents and business savvy further enhances 360 Racing's global strength as the industry leader of second screen technology in motorsports," said Kozko. "Interactive and immersive race viewing experiences is the engine behind reaching new fans and increasing consumer engagement. David's leadership and experience will be pivotal in positioning our revolutionary technology."

A look at Knise's previous experience

Knise comes to 360 Racing having recently served as senior vice president and general manager of motorsports for Sportvision, where he led growth strategy, business development, product development, and marketing. He was directly responsible for defining the future of MBU across all media platforms – broadcast, web, wireless, iTV, gaming, and post-PC devices, including launching the first and only virtual representation of a live sporting event as a digital app for both iOS and Android.

"Fan engagement via our exclusive second screen, 360 degree, second screen technology is the future of how motor sports will be viewed."

Prior to the position at Sportvision, Knise served as a senior level executive in the wireless and web technology sectors for established companies, including World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and AMC Networks. Knise spent five years at WWE as the Vice President of Interactive Development for the Global Media, Mobile Division, where he successfully launched and managed their global mobile business.  He was also responsible for negotiating mobile content contracts with operators around the globe.
