SEB'S A WINTER SERIES WINNER!
14 year old rules the roost at Pembrey with epic Championship victory
Welsh eyes were smiling on youngster Seb Morris this weekend, as the Ginetta racing driver made history at Pembrey Circuit, by sealing the 2010 Ginetta Junior Winter Series in style - all at the tender age of just 14 years old!
Morris, a pupil at The Kings School in Chester, took two victories and a further second place from the four rounds, which were contested over the 1.45-mile track, to scoop 123 points overall, just beating Yorkshire drivers Max Coates (117 points) and David Moore (106 points) into second and third place. Ginetta Scholarship winner Sennan Fielding made an impressive fifth place with 69 points.

Hillspeed team principal Richard Ollerenshaw said: "Seb did a fantastic job this weekend, we're absolutely delighted to have won our third title of the year - it's been an incredible 2010 for Hillspeed. He's made history by winning the title at such a young age and it proves the talent we've always known he's had. Seb has a huge future in motorsport, we can't wait now for next season!"
Meanwhile Lawrence Tomlinson, Ginetta Chairman commented: "Seb is such a joy to have on the Ginetta grid - as well as being a very talented young driver, he possesses the professionalism and conduct of a motor-racing professional twice his age. This victory is well deserved and at just 14 years old, I can't wait to see what Seb can do with Hillspeed in next year's Ginetta Junior Championship."
