On Sunday June 27th, the 2nd round of Renault Clio International Challenge will be taking place on the fast track in Monza. This mini European championship has one round left after Monza and that will be in Hockenheim on October 9 &10, 2004.

During the debut round in Spa, Luca Casadei conquered his first podium by taking the chequered flag in third place. He had also set the fastest lap. This time around the young driver from Forli, Italy will try to get a positive result again in Monza. He is hoping to improve his current 6tth place position in the general classification

Luca Casadei

"I'm rather optimist about the race in Monza. I have a good feeling with the car that keeps getting better race after race. My mentality has also adapted to the covered wheels competition. I wasn't easy for me especially after 2 years in Formula Renault 1600 and 2000.

I hope that I could celebrate my first victory in this category soon!"
