AURORA, Ill. (August 1, 2001) -- Clear Channel Entertainment (Formerly SFX) announces the schedule for the 2001-2002 Speed Stick National Arenacross Series and Regional Arenacross Series.

For the first time, the National Arenacross Series will make four stops outside the United States, including a return visit to the PalExpo in Geneva. New to the schedule are two events in Canada, at B.C. Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the Toronto Skydome, along with a visit to Leipzig, Germany at the Leipzig Messe. New U.S. events to Arenacross this year include Grand Rapids, Michigan along with a return to Portland, Oregon.

The 18-weekend series crowns its 2001-2002 series champion in Tacoma, Wash., making the Tacoma Dome the home of the series finals for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, the Regional Formula USA Arenacross Series charges across the United States with a schedule of regional events returning to several cities with up to three events in some weekends.
