MIAMI (May 19, 2015) Motorsport LLC today announced that it has acquired WorldCarFans.com - one of the world's largest online auto enthusiast publications. The acquisition will become part of the companys Motor1.com portfolio.

The acquisition adds to the Companys impressive online media portfolio which includes Motorsport.com, the worlds leading source for motor racing content featuring the largest database of motorsports images, and video library, along with digital platform Motorsport.tv - the brandautomotive and motorsports-themed video library.

Adding WorldCarFans.com to our business portfolio leverages the great synergy between all of our auto-related platforms, said Scott Sebastian, vice president of marketing and public relations of Motorsport.com. We believe they will be a tremendous asset in our international network of world-class interactive media content.

Motorsport.coms entry into the internet-based automotive review vertical supports its aggressive business strategy of diversification and global expansion into 14 countries in 10 native languages in 2015.

By leveraging both industry-leading editorial staffs with Motorsport.coms sales and marketing infrastructure around the world, fans of WorldCarFans.com will experience more in-depth editorial coverage of product news, auto industry headlines and video content than any other site in the world, added Sebastian.

WorldCarFans.com features daily editorial coverage of emerging product news and auto industry headlines, augmented by video, spy photos, live international motor show coverage, photo galleries and various feature stories.

One of the fastest growing motor sports websites in the world, Motorsport.com is a technically advanced digital distribution platform, which provides worldwide, multimedia motor sports coverage results in over 180 countries this year.

"This acquisition is a logical step for our business," said Motorsport.com Editor in Chief Charles Bradley. "Without the industry might of the OEMs, the motorsport world wouldn't operate to the high degree that it does, and there's a great synergy between what happens in the showrooms and on the racetracks.

"Covering the automotive industry with passion for racing is going to be an exciting journey for us, and will give our readers a real one-stop shop as we add this popular site to our portfolio."

I am excited to join the Motorsport.com family, said Brian Potter, managing director and founder of WorldCarFans.com. With this acquisition, our dedicated readership will experience more in-depth coverage and exposure of our premier content.
