Weekend round-up: Hamilton wins in Japan, Lorenzo strikes back, and more

From Lewis Hamilton recording an eighth win of the F1 season over Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg at Suzuka to Jorge Lorenzo's crucial MotoGP victory at Aragon, it's been an eventful weekend in the motorsport world.

Not only that, but Matt Kenseth booked his spot in the next phase of the NASCAR Chase with a win at New Hampshire, Pascal Wehrlein moved closer to the DTM title at the Nurburgring - as Mercedes ruffled feathers by using team orders - and Jose Maria Lopez boosted his WTCC title defence at Shanghai.

And, to top it all off, there were title coronations in the two biggest junior single-seater categories outside of the grand prix paddock, with Oliver Rowland taking the FR3.5 crown and Felix Rosenqvist scooping European F3 honours.
