Archangel Motorsport's Mike Johnson back on MTV

January 22, 2002 Road Atlanta, GA ­ Two -time Grand -Am SRPII Champion Archangel Motorsport's team owner Mike Johnson returns to M TV in the "Real World / Road Rules Challenge."

MTV's The "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" combines past Real World cast members with past Road Rules members in a Team Real World vs.Team Road Rules fight to the finish. Thirty -two of the best and craziest cast members to ever grace the screens of realty television compete in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the ultimate showdown. Sixteen Real Worlders, 16 Road Rulers ­ all competing for $300,000.

Johnson first appeared on the world's leading music television cha nnel as a cast member of "Real World 4" ­ filmed entirely in London. The "Real World" is MTV's critically acclaimed reality -based show that is the true story of seven strangers ­ male and female, picked to all live in one house together, to find out what h appens when people eventually stop being polite and start getting ­ "real."

During the "Real World 4" season, Johnson became known to fellow cast members for racing cars and looking for love. For the "Real World / Road Rules Challenge" Johnson is regarded as one of the strongest "Real World" cast members. It is believed that his zest for competition will give him an edge over everyone who is more accustomed to fighting rather than winning.

Johnson's "zest" for competition comes as no surprise to those in the motorsports community. This same zest for competition has earned his team both the 2000 and 2001 Grand -Am SRPII Championships and the 2001 Rolex 24 SRPII class win. Archangel will defend their class win at the 40 th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway on February 2 & 3, 2002.

In this season's "Real World / Road Rules Challenge", two cast members from almost every season of Real World and Road Rules are partnered up as a team for the Challenge. On the show, each season's team is aw arded points based on how it places in an episode's Challenge. After every Challenge, the three Real World teams and the three Road Rules teams with the highest accumulative score each meet as "inner circles."
