In SportsRacer Prototype II, the No. 89 Porsche Haus Racing Nissan Lola and drivers Bob Woodman, Robert Julien, Bruno St. Jacques and Greg Pootmans remain first in class and tenth overall.

Ron Fellows is now the GTS class leader and is fifth overall, driving the No. 2 Corvette Racing Chevrolet Corvette C5R, having relieved Franck Freon within the last hour. Dale Earnhardt Jr., entered the team’s #3 car at approximately 7:45 p.m. EST, which means his first time behind the wheel under race conditions are in the dark and on a damp track.

Second is the No. 24 Marcos Racing Marcos Mantra of Peter Van De Kolk, Toto Lassally, and Miguel de Castro, followed by the No. 0 Porsche 911 GT1 of Canadians Scott Maxwell, Richard Spenard and David Empringham, which sat on the class pole.

In GT class, the No 31 White Lightning Racing Porsche 911 GT3R of Christian Menzel continues to lead, and runs 13th overall. The No. 54 JET Motorsports BMW M3 with Boris Said, Terry Borcheller, Hans Stuck and Tony Jennings driving is second, followed by the No. 56 Porsche 911 GT3R of last year’s Rolex 24 At Daytona winners, Italians Fabio Babini, Fabio Rosa, Alex Caffi and Gabrio Rosa.

The spread between the AGT class leader and second place is now a mere 15 seconds, as the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro of Kenny Bupp, Doug Mills, Dick Greer and Simon Gregg lead the race over the No. 09 Spirit of Daytona Beach Chevrolet Camaro driven by Craig Conway, Doug Goad, Erik Messkey and Rick Maugeri. They are 44th and 45th overall, respectively.
