Farnbacher Loles add Stippler, Kaffer to 24H lineup

Stippler and Kaffer join Farnbacher Loles for Rolex 24

Farnbacher Loles Racing has announced two additional drivers for their 2008 Rolex 24 effort. Joining an already impressive cast of drivers will be two more very accomplished German factory aces: Frank Stippler and Pierre Kaffer. Stippler and Kaffer will co-drive with Dave Lacey and Greg Wilkins in the #88 Porsche GT3 Cup. Both drivers have proven themselves in sprint and endurance races throughout the globe. Kaffer was the 2004 Sebring 12- Hour Champion while Stippler is the only driver to win both the Porsche Carrera Cup and Porsche Supercup in the same year.

Team principal owner Gregory Loles made the announcements while in route to the official Daytona test days. "We are thrilled with the driving talent we've been able to assemble for this year's 24 effort. Running such a large team is a bit daunting but we have an outstanding crew and technical staff. We feel we have as much talent on the other side of pit wall as well as in the cockpit. Horst Farnbacher, Lars Giersing, Frank Resciniti and Michael Gue lead a very talented staff who have proven themselves time and time again. We are looking forward to the test and giving the drivers and crew a chance to get comfortable with the cars and each other prior to the race weekend. As the clock winds down to the race weekend, all the pieces are coming together nicely and we feel very good about our chances."
