MISSION ACCOMPLISHED FOR SIGALSPORT BMW TEAM IN MEXICO!

Los Angeles, November 8, 2005: After scoring their first ever GT pole on Friday with driver Bill Auberlen, the Sigalsport BMW Team finished second in the GT class of the final round of the 2005 Rolex Sports Car Series in La Gran Final de la Serie Rolex Sports Car in Mexico City, Mexico.

The Mexico event was the first race for Sigalsport with the BMW M3 and this result proved that the team has what it takes to win races and be a contender next season. Bill Auberlen, Gene Sigal and Mat Alhadeff led the most laps in the race for a total of 53 laps out of 90, ahead of the highly competitive GT field. Bill Auberlen also took the fastest lap in the race setting a GT track record for the history book.

The 2005 season ended on a high note for Sigalsport who competed in all 14 Rolex Series events since the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Mexico City was only the 23rd race for Sigalsport since its inception in 2004 and its achievements and reliability speak for themselves; 14 top ten finishes (SGS & GT combined), one SGS class win and two SGS podium finishes, one GT pole and a second place finish in GT.

Gene Sigal and Matt Alhadeff drove in 11 races together and the duo will drive again for the team next season. Matt showed great potential and improved his performance race after race and after the upcoming pre-season testing will definitely be one of the GT contenders next year to finish in the top of the overall series rankings in 2006.

The Sigalsport BMW Team has already actively started working on its 2006 program to train current drivers and evaluate new drivers. Testing to develop the car to maintain its competitiveness will start very soon in California. The first race of the 2006 Rolex Sports Car Series is the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, scheduled for January 26-29, 2006, less than 80 days away.

Sigalsport wants to thank all the Grand American officials, fans, sponsors and technical suppliers for their support and will return again in 2006 with the same winning spirit and attitude.
