The official entry list for the 2001 Rolex 24 at Daytona contains over 300 drivers. Of those, 65 are Skip Barber trained. That's nearly a quarter of the field that has gone through a Skip Barber Racing School program.

Of the Skip Barber trained about to contest one of the most prestigious events in North America, 11 are in Sports Racer I, 15 in Sports Racer II, 19 in GT, 12 in GTS and 8 in the AGT category.

Among the most notable in the Sports Racer I and II class are Butch Leitzinger, Barry Waddell, Dorsey Schroeder and Barber Dodge Pro Series racers Thed Bjork and Andy Lally. Mike Fitzgerald, Kyle Petty, Wade Gaughram and Boris Said will represent the GT class while in the GTS class, Kelly Collins, Paul Gentilozzi, and Pro Series racer Milka Duno promise to make things interesting. Dick Greer, Todd Snyder and Dave Bacher will compete in the AGT class.

The ultra-endurance race starts Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
