SCC: Automatic Racing signs Invisible Glass as sponsor

Invisible Glass Joins Automatic Racing as Sponsor for 2011 Season

ORLANDO, Fla.--Automatic Racing has announced that Invisible Glass has joined the team as a primary sponsor of the No. 99 BMW M3. Invisible Glass is a premium automotive glass cleaner, and is the top-selling automotive glass cleaner in the United States.

The Automatic Racing M3 and hauler will both have a new look when they arrive at Daytona International Speedway for the 2011 season opener of the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series. Both vehicles will be covered with an Invisible Glass-themed wrap.

That's not all that's new. Automatic Racing will also debut their new BMW E92 M3 this season.

Rob Ecklin is the President of Stoner Incorporated, the parent company of Invisible Glass. For him, getting involved in motorsports sponsorship was a natural choice. He chose to partner with Automatic Racing after meeting David Russell at New Jersey Motorsports Park last season.

"David has a unique position in this series, and Automatic Racing is a great operation," says Ecklin. "They know a lot about racing. Sponsoring Automatic Racing gives us great exposure to a whole community of motorsports enthusiasts." Ecklin is a motorsports enthusiast and driver himself: he competes in the Skip Barber Series.

Stoner Incorporated has a legacy that reaches back more than sixty years, when Ecklin's grandfather founded the company. The Invisible Glass product line includes aerosol and spray bottle cleaner, Invisible Glass with rain repellent for windshields, and even wiper blades. A detailed list of Invisible Glass products, which contain none of the dyes and soaps found in similar products, can be found online at www.InvisibleGlass.com.

"We are excited about the opportunity to join forces with Invisible Glass," says Russell. "Rob and his team have a lot of branding and marketing experience, and they will bring a lot to Automatic Racing. This will be a great relationship for both of us."

While Invisible Glass "Makes Glass Invisible," the No. 99 Automatic Racing BMW M3 will be easy to spot when it debuts at Daytona this month. The team is looking forward to the new partnership with Invisible Glass, and to having a clear view from the driver's seat to the checkered flag.
