BGB RETURNS TO BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK WITH FAMILIAR SUPPORT

(DAYTONA BEACH, FL - July 24, 2006) BGB Motorsports will return again to Barber Motorsports Park for the 2nd year in a row with Intown Suites as their guest in the paddock. Last year Intown enjoyed the experience so much that twice as many are coming back and BGB can't be happier:

"Intown's headquarters are only about 2 hours from here. I can't tell if they're coming back because this is their home race and their biggest market or because we've created a bunch of sports car groupies," added team manager John Tecce.

Last year Mark Plummer and Craig Stanton drove their fast race together and brought the car home in 11th place. This finish marked a point in time in which the team was really beginning to gel; since then the cohesion has continued. This year, however, BGB will return to Barber Motorsports Park with 2 more 996s than last year but the same goal. They want to deliver a win for Intown Suites at their home race. Three weeks ago at Mid Ohio the team enjoyed a trip to the podium for the #38 Porsche of Plummer and Stanton and was fortunate enough to do it in front of the invited guests from Red Capital Group. BGB is really looking to continue this trend of delivering promised exposure to willing partners that wish to be part of the package that BGB Motorsports can provide.

Equally as hungry for their first win are Tim Traver and Mikel Miller in the #83 SimpleNet.com Porsche 996. According to Mikel Miller, if he can have the same amazing car he had at Mid Ohio, he's going to the front and not moving from there. Miller and Traver sit in 5th place in the points with teammates Plummer and Stanton 11 points back in 6th in the Team Championship.

The #84 Porsche from BGB Motorsports has a new look and a slight change to the driver lineup. Ted Ballou of Corona del Mar, CA will return after sitting out the last round at Mid Ohio. Returning with Ted is the support of Mitchell Global. Mitchell Global is an affiliate of Mitchell Rubber Products, Inc., specializing in rubber compound mixing and molded rubber products for the automotive, construction and agricultural industries. Ballou's codriver this weekend will be BGB team manager John Tecce making his inaugural drive in the Porsche. The two are very excited about the event this weekend and driving with each other.

Qualifying for Saturday's Grand-Am Cup 200 for the GS class is at 11:35am on Saturday morning with the green flag falling shortly afterwards for the 2.5 hour race at 2:15pm. Tape delay television coverage will be available on Speed TV on August 5th at 1:00pm.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia Intown Suites owns and operates 127 extended stay hotels in over 21 states. With over 16,000 rooms, they're the largest owner and operator of economy extended stay hotels in the Unites States.

BGB Motorsports is an ambitious, professional Motorsports business. Last year they established themselves as the team to look out for in the Grand Am Cup's GS class. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, the team operates as a customer-oriented business, running cars under the Grand Am Cup, SCCA and Porsche Club of America sanctioning bodies.
