SCC: Grahovec, Costello join Marren Motorsports at Daytona

Grahovec and Costello to pilot the Marren Motorsports No. 55 Honda Civic Si in CTSCC race at Daytona Motor Speedway

Oxford, CT - Toby Grahovec and John Costello have signed on to drive the No. 55 Marren Fuel Injection Honda Civic Si at the Daytona International Speedway in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) ST class on January 28, 2011.

Grahovec has a long and successful history in sports car racing. The Chicago native is a two-time SCCA National Champion and multi-time CTSCC podium finisher. When he is not racing, Grahovec is a highly sought after driver coach for The Driving Trainer (www.TheDrivingTrainer.com).

"I am looking forward to returning to Daytona with Marren Motorsports, which helped me win my first pro race 10 years ago," said Toby. "Teaming up with John is also exciting because he is a very fast and consistent driver."

Costello will be making his pro racing debut in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. John has been collecting SCCA Club Racing wins in a Honda over the last couple of years and is now ready to get behind wheel of the Civic in the ultra competitive CTSCC series.

"I am anxiously awaiting my debut in the CTSCC," states Costello. "It is exciting to be teamed with Toby and driving for a top team in Marren Motorsports. I know I will get up to speed quickly and I'm looking to get the Polit & Costello Dentistry backed Civic on the podium."

"Having two top drivers, such as Toby and John, is a dream for any team owner," says Tim Marren. "I am confident that we have built a fast race car that, when combined with our great drivers, will be a podium threat at Daytona."
