DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 15, 2003) -- Doncaster Racing drivers Robert Julien and Jean-Francois Dumoulin increased their Grand-Am Cup Series points lead with their fourth victory of the season coming in the Sunoco Ultra 94 Mosport 3 Hour last weekend. The Canadian duo now has a 25-point advantage over Michael Levitas in the Grand Sport I driver point standings.

The Doncaster Racing No. 119 Porsche also strengthened its lead to 25 points over the TPC Racing No. 18 Porsche in the class team owner standings. The Powell Motorsports No. 11 Corvette, which finished second at Mosport, is in third place, trailing the leaders by 34 points.

The Grand Sport II class win by Bell Motorsports' Terry Borcheller and Forest Barber on Saturday propelled the duo into a four-way tie for the lead in the class driver point standings. The pair now shares the lead at 233 points with the Planet Earth Motorsports father-son duo of Joe and Wayne Nonnamaker, who took third at Mosport.

The Planet Earth Motorsports No. 41 Porsche 911 claimed the top spot in the GS II team owner point standings, as an early exit from the race slid the Michael Baughman Racing No. 46 Firebird to second place and eight points behind the leader.

Honda of America Racing Team (HART) drivers Pete Halsmer and John Schmitt continue to hold a powerful advantage in the Sport Touring I driver point standings, however Steve Pfeffer was able to decrease their lead slightly from 23 points to 21 following his second-place finish in the TC Kline Racing No. 12 BMW Z4 over the weekend.

The No. 12 BMW Z4 continues to lead the class team owner points, while the HART No. 00 Acura RSX-S took over the second-place position, 14 points behind the leader. The Team Lexus No. 0 Lexus IS300 dropped to third place, 24 points out of the lead.

Bob Beede was able to get a little more breathing room in the Sport Touring II class with his victory in the Bill Fenton Motorsports No. 27 Acura Integra LS over the weekend. Beede held a narrow one-point lead in the class driver standings heading into Mosport, but now leads HRPworld.com drivers Howie Liebengood and Will Nonnamaker by four points.

The No. 27 Acura Integra LS also had its advantage in the team owner points open up to four points over the HRPworld.com No. 43 Acura Integra LS.
