Beverly Hills, CA. Scuderia Corsa has announced that it will enter a second Ferrari 458 in the Grand-AM Rolex series Brickyard Grand Prix, to be held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 26th. The #64, being run in association with Randall Motorsports / TFR Racing, will join the #63 of Alessandro Balzan and two-time Rolex Grand-AM champion Leh Keen.
Piloting the #64 Ferrari will be Dr. Rod Randall and his co-driver Ken Wilden. Of his first race under the Scuderia Corsa banner, Dr. Randall said, “I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to compete at Indy with the great Ferrari team of Scuderia Corsa, flying MOMO colors. This is an extremely competitive field at a historic track. We are dedicated to working hard to achieve a podium finish!”
Ken Wilden added, "I have driven almost every kind of car in my career but this will be the first Ferrari and I can tell you I'm very excited. Driving for Scuderia Corsa flying the MOMO colors and on top of that doing it at INDY, what could be better.
I want to thank Rod Randall for this opportunity. Rod and I are thrilled to part of such a good team and Ferrari with their long history in racing, we look forward to racing hard for a win."
Team Principal Giacomo Mattioli continued, “We are very pleased to have Rod Randall and Ken Wilden racing with #64 for the Brickyard Grand Prix. It is an honor for Scuderia Corsa to race at this historic track for the first time with two entries and looking forward to a fun and successful weekend.”
