The 3 Team Sahlen Porsche GT3 Cup racers will compete in the GT category.

This announcement coincides with the recent Sahlen's press conference held at the January Daytona Test Days. Team Sahlen's 5 Grand Sports Class Porsches will look to repeat for the 3rd year as the Grand-Am Cup Team, Driver and Manufacturer Champions.

"Everyone at Sahlen's is very excited about the expansion of our partnership to include a full 3 car campaign in the Rolex series as well as our 5 car campaign in the Grand-Am Cup. Grand American is the fastest growing motorsports organization in America, and we are excited to be an increasing part of that development." States Joe Sahlen of Sahlen's Team Sahlen's Grand-Am Cup and Rolex Porsches will be painted in Red, Black and Yellow, with the striking Sahlen's Flag Logo emblazoned on the sides and hoods of all 8 Grand American Porsches.

"We are very proud and honored to have such a great partner as Sahlen's. Sahlen's support of not only the series itself but both our Rolex and Grand-Am Cup efforts speaks highly of their commitment towards the Grand American Road Racing Association, its teams, and drivers." States Will Nonnamaker of Phoenix Promotions.

Sahlen's is a Buffalo, New York company which is owned by Joe Sahlen. It was established as family business in 1869 and is known for their premium quality meat products. Sahlen's has been the exclusive presenter for the Rolex Grand American events at Watkins Glen - the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen and the Sahlen's 200.
