Hurley Haywood is recognized as one of the finest drivers in racing history. He has made his mark at The Glen over the course of his illustrious career by claiming an incredible 7 victories at the historic road course. Watkins Glen International is a significant part to Haywood's career not just because of his victories but also because he made his pro racing debut during the 1969 Six Hours of The Glen. His list of racing accomplishments is impressive to say the least and stands up against any driver, past or present. He is a 5-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, a 3-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, was the first driver to win the 24 Hours of Daytona and 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year and is the only driver to repeat as winner of both races in the same year. Haywood is competing in the Daytona Prototypes this year and is the co-driver of the No. 59 Brumos Racing Porsche Fabcar with teammate JC France. Fans can expect to see both drivers in the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, June 8-10, and during the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race during the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series at The Glen weekend, August 9-12.
