AIM Autosport looking to restore form in Utah
Final race of the season for Pacific Mobile/Biosign car

Woodbridge, Ont. (September 9, 2010) -- AIM Autosport's Daytona Prototype team has arrived in Tooele, Utah, where its Pacific Mobile/Biosign Ford Riley will compete in the Utah 250 at Miller Motorsports Park. Saturday's 2h 45m race is the final round of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 and the team heads into this race optimistic of a good result and stubbornly determined to stamp out a multi-race slump.

In early July, drivers Mark Wilkins and Burt Frisselle were second in the Drivers Championship, just seven points short of first place, but have since tumbled down the order. DNFs (Did Not Finish) in the last two races have cost the team dearly and, although a sting comes with knowing that the championship title is out of reach, each member of the team arrived in Utah motivated and intending to deliver their best.

Although the team is winless this season, they have demonstrated good pace, finishing as high as second place. Heading into round eight at Daytona, they had finished fifth or better in all but one race, but then things started going wrong. Contact and lengthy repairs resulted in an 11th-place finish at Daytona and since then they have completed just one race--a lucky fourth-place finish following a late-race collision not of their making. Yet, after each mishap, the crew took the car back to AIM Autosport's shop, just north of Toronto, and made it as fast and as eye-catching as ever. The team is truly fired up again for this final race.

"I can't wait to race at Salt Lake City," said Burt. "Miller is one of the best tracks we race on and is a joy to drive. It has been a tough past two races for AIM, but I'm pumped to end the year on a positive note. I have confidence that we will be fighting for the win on Saturday."

"I'm also excited to get back behind the wheel for the final event of the 2010 season," added Mark. "We have endured some challenging races of late, but everyone has kept their head down and I would like to thank the entire AIM Autosport organization for another strong year."
