ROCK THE NIGHT AWAY ON THE RED CAT SUMMER STAGE AT WGI
Several Bands Will Perform following the Zippo 200

Watkins Glen, NY (August 5, 2008) -- Fans can rock the night away at the Saturday Night Concert on the Red Cat Summer Stage on Saturday, August 9. The concert, featuring Emma Mae Jacob, Ragged Sole and Delilah Why, will be another added bonus for fans purchasing a weekend ticket to the Centurion Boats at The Glen, August 7-10. The concert will be held near the Esses, and is scheduled to begin immediately following the Zippo 200. Admission to the concert is included in the price of a weekend ticket.

Emma Mae Jacob, an up-and-coming country star, will perform the opening act for the concert and is expected to sing 3-4 songs from her new album, "Breaking All the Rules." Jacob will perform with her band, which is composed of two guitarists and a fiddler. The stop on the Red Cat Summer Stage is a break from a tour opening for Jason Aldean and promoting her new album. On Sunday, August 10, Jacob's fans can catch her singing the National Anthem as a part of the pre-race festivities for the Centurion Boats at The Glen.

Also featured at the Saturday Night Concert in the Esses will be Ragged Sole, a rock band out of Ithaca, NY. Ragged Sole has performed at Watkins Glen International in the past, and now the high energy party band is back to bring fans to their feet once again. The successful cover band performs a wide variety of music from classic artists

such as Aerosmith, Led Zepplin and Chuck Berry to some of today's top artists such as Barenaked Ladies, 3 Doors Down and Green Day.

Delilah Why will be the third band showcased during Saturday Night's Concert. This Southern rock band from Nashville formed in 2005 when singer/guitarist Dave Sanford joined forces with guitarist Dan Smith and drummer Pete Pulkrabek. Cullen Tierney, the bassist, joined the group in 2006 and as they say, the rest is history. Now, the group is one of the premier rock bands in the southeast, winning over crowd after crowd.
