Will Nonnamaker Returns to Cockpit
North Canton, Ohio - After missing the last two races due to a broken arm, Will Nonnamaker will be returning to the driver's seat of ORISON - Planet Earth Motorsports's SGS class Porsche GT3 Cup racers.
"I am very excited to be back behind the wheel. I missed driving those two races. The good news is that the team was able to push forward, and at Daytona we secured our first ROLEX victory." States Will Nonnamaker "Mid-Ohio is not only our home track, it is my favorite track, so it should be an exciting weekend. We are in contention for the SGS title, and hopefully I can do my part to contribute to that goal"
Will broke his arm in the first week of June, while training on his bike. He also suffered contusions to his shoulder and knee.
"Obviously it was frustrating breaking my arm. But as soon as I could start training again, I got right back to my work-out routine. I have a goal of getting into peak fitness shape by next year's 24 hours. Currently, I am already 18 lbs. lighter than I was at this time last year, and I plan to loose another 7 lbs before the 24 hours." states Will Nonnamaker
