The Iveco deal will begin at Sandown this weekend, where D’Alberto will once again share the Maranello Motorsport Ferrari with Grant Denyer, as well as competing in the Sandown 500 alongside Tim Slade.

It will be D’Alberto’s first time in the Ferrari since the Townsville round, the former V8 development series champion having missed the Sydney Motorsport Park event due to the impending birth of his first son.

However, despite that being the second round he’s missed in 2015, he and Denyer are still very much in contention for the GT title.

“It’s fantastic to have Iveco sponsor our #88 Maranello Motorsport Ferrari,” said D’Alberto.

“It will be a big weekend for myself, racing the Ferrari and playing my role for Tim Slade in the Supercheap Auto Commodore. Over the years, I haven’t had to do too many rounds where I’ve been on double duties, but I’m really looking forward to it.

“One thing is for sure, I won’t be short of laps around the track!

“I’ve been competitive at every Australian GT round I’ve raced at this year, and despite missing a couple of races, Grant and I are still in the hunt for the championship. We’re aiming to keep that going at Sandown.

“The car has been faultless all year. The Ferrari is a beautiful car and Maranello do a great job at getting the most out of it. Grant is driving very well, it's a great combination.”
