Podium lock-out for Audi

ADAC GT Masters: Saturday's ADAC GT Masters race at the EuroSpeedway ended with a one-two-three for the Audi R8 LMS. Henri Moser and 'wild card' Christopher Haase (Phoenix Racing) won from Christian Abt/Jan Seyffarth (Team ABT Sportsline) and Christopher Mies/Michael Outzen (Phoenix Racing). In the second race Nicolas Armindo and Cesar Campanico (Team Rosberg) took fourth position in the best Audi R8 LMS. Abt and Seyffarth came home in tenth place. As a result, Christian Abt continues to the lead the championship by two points from Seyffarth.

Halliday and Ortelli without points

French GT Championship: The Frenchmen Stephane Ortelli and David Halliday had a weekend to forget when the French GT Championship appeared at Val de Vienne. In the first race the duo in the Oreca team's Audi R8 LMS finished in 16th position. Halliday and Ortelli did not reach the finish of the second race on Sunday.

Big day for Audi at Goodwood

Goodwood: Audi lined up in force this weekend at the "Festival of Speed" at Goodwood, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of the brand with the four rings. The center of attraction was the appearance of Walter Rohrl who impressed the fans in an Audi Sport quattro S1 with which he won the Pike Peak hill-climb in 1987. The fans saw numerous historic and current race cars from AUDI AG in action and were able to get first-hand information from Audi drivers Frank Biela, Dindo Capello, Allan McNish and Marco Werner.
