With still months to go before the start of the newly launched GT4 European Series, the first entries give a promising preview. The starting grid will likely represent beyond 20 teams from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia. The Italian team NOVA Race already announced that it brings a great number of 12 cars to the start. ALFAB Racing from Sweden will be joining the GT4 European Series as well, with a brand-new Aston Martin Vantage. Drivers are Erik Behrens and Daniel Roos. Dutch GT-champions Duncan Huisman and Luc Braams will make their appearancewith their Chevrolet Camaro. Marcel Nooren drives the second Camaro of Las Moras Racing Team. Frenchman André Grammatico participates the full season with a BMW M3 GT4. And PROsport Performance from Germany will be on the starting grid as well.

With experience in Nordic and international events, ALFAB Racing takes up the challenge in the GT4 European Series with the support of Aston Martin Racing. "We see this as a start of an interesting journey and are delighted to be an Aston Martin Partner", says Erik Behrens, team owner andalso one of the drivers in the new Vantage. His teammate will be Daniel Roos, who has been driver for the ALFAB Racing team for many years.

NOVA Race will join the GT4 European Series for the complete season as well. The presence of the Italian racing team gives a great kick-start to the series, as it brings 12 (!) cars to the start. And as an important partner of the GT4 European Series, NOVA Race will also perform all kinds of personal services for teams, drivers and their companions.

After securing the championship in the Dutch GT Chamionship (PRO and AM) last year, Duncan Huisman and Luc Braams raise the bar and want to collect the European trophies. “We want to elaborate on the speed and reliability, that we finally have with our Chevrolet Camaro’s. Our goal is both the AM- and PRO-championship”, says Huisman. Marcel Nooren will be their Las Moras teammate and is already a GT4 veteran, with racing experience in both the BMW M3 GT4 and Corvette C6. This year he drives a Chevrolet Camaro.

André Grammatico, BMW dealer in Cognac (France), will participate the full season with – logically – a BMW M3 GT4. PROsport Performance from Germany will be on the starting grid as well. More official news of GT4 teams joining in, is expected to follow soon.
