Edo Varini joins GNM team

Edo Varini for selected GNM races

Likeable Rimini (italy) based Edo Varini has become the 5th driver to join GNM's Porsche squad for selected races in the FIA GT this season.

He will drive the GNM Porsche GT3RS at Imola and Spa 24 Hours, and may complete the season thereafter. At Spa he will share with Kurt Thiel and fellow Italian Marco Panzavuota.

Confirming the deal, Sporting Director Andy Woolgar commented "Of course we are very pleased to sign Edo. He comes with a very good Racing CV and he is looking forward to getting to grips with our Porsche. He will test in monza in 2 weeks time ate the Media Day".

"His experience in cars such as a Corvette C5-R, Supertourismo Jaguar S-Type and BMW M3 should account for quick adaptability to the Porsche. We are really looking forward to a good solid season with the 'RS' this year. Our mechanics have taken pride in rebuilding and devloping the car to a very high standard".
