CALLING ALL PAST TOURIST TROPHY ENTRANTS

The Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy is back, celebrating its Centenary year at the British round of the FIA GT Championship at Silverstone on 15th May 2005. To make the event a true celebration of the Tourist Trophy, the Royal Automobile Club has launched a dedicated website.

www.tourist-trophy100.co.uk features the latest news, features and information on one of motor sport's most prestigious races, plus a history of the event and a page dedicated to stories from past competitors and spectators. Past competitors and spectators are therefore being invited to tell their stories on the website -- bringing this historic event to life.

George Kennedy, Royal Automobile Club Secretary, comments, "As part of our celebration of the centenary year of the Tourist Trophy we are inviting anyone who was involved in past events to come forward and tell their story. Winners, losers and spectators of all ages -- we want them all to help document the event's rich history. Simply log onto www.tourist-trophy100.co.uk and follow the link to send in wild, funny, sad and exciting stories of this world class event."

"In its heyday the Tourist Trophy was the one accolade all competitors wanted to win and we are truly thrilled to be bringing it to the modern motor sports arena. The FIA GT Championship is the perfect place to present a new era in motor sport with the revival of the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy."
