Brilliant 5th place for Joel at the German round of the FIA GT Championship.

Swiss GT ace, Joel Camathias (27), alongside his Italian team-mate Davide Rigon (21), driving the BMS Scuderia Italia # 78 Ferrari F430 GT, finished 5th in the fourth round of the 2008 FIA GT Championship. Swiss-Italian duo did an excellent job during the German weekend, they showed their pace all weekend long, it has just been a pity that the "blameless" duo lost again some positions due to a contact with a GT1 car.

"Oh Boys! This races are very competitive, everybody there could win. The level of cars and drivers are tremendous high, but again we did our job, and, as in the Adria round, if a GT1 car didn`t hit us, we could finish in a better position! We are working really well within the team [BMS Scuderia Italia], which is so good and professional, and with our main partner [Pirelli tyres], which are providing us excellent tyres, that we are definitely looking forward to the next events. As always I`d like to thank the whole team [BMS Scuderia Italia], my team-mate Davide [Davide Rigon] and Pirelli [Pirelli tyres] for the great work they did during this weekend. You are amazing guys!".

We will see Joel back in action with BMS Scuderia Italia squad on August 2nd and 3rd at the fifth round of the FIA GT Championship for the Total 24 Hours race of Spa (Belgium).

Total 24 Hours race of Spa

BMS Scuderia Italia # 77 Ferrari F430 GT regular drivers, Matteo Malucelli (23) and Paolo Ruberti (33), will join Joel Camathias and Davide Rigon on the BMS Scuderia Italia # 78 Ferrari F430 GT for the Total 24 Hours race of Spa.
