Renewed ambitions for Filip Salaquarda in Zandvoort
Salaquarda will share the wheel with another young and fast driver: Alessandro Balzan.
After more than a month long break, the Blancpain Sprint Series will resume this coming weekend at the challenging circuit of Zandvoort with the third round of the season.
Filip Salaquarda, strong with the points scored in Nogaro and Brands Hatch, is heading to Holland ready to confirm himself among the front runners with the aim of taking the only Ferrari present in the championship on top positions.
Salaquarda will share the wheel with another young and fast driver: Alessandro Balzan, will replace Andrea Montermini in Zandvoort as the latter will be busy with a conflicting race.
Filip Salaquarda: "Last year I had been quite fast in Zandvoort's qualifying, but some race contacts forced us to an early retirement. So far the season started on the right foot: we are making good progress race after race and we will be working to make some more step forward during this weekend so that we can get closer to the podium. Alessandro is a quick and very experienced driver, I believe we will make a very competitive lineup. I'd like to send my best wishes to my usual co-equiper Montermini, who will be defending our team's colors in Budapest".
