No finish for Belgian Racing in San Luis
San Luis - 23 November 2008 After a good qualifying and start of the race by Renaud Kuppens, Belgian Racing could not finish the last race of the season. Bas Leinders had to leave the car next to the track after an off in a fast part of the circuit.
Bas Leinders : "After one hour the asphalt started to break up on various parts of the circuit and all the drivers had to be extremely cautious not to go off. There were no marbles in the right-hander were I spun, the rear of the Gillet Vertigo just stepped out and from there on I was just a passenger. I would like to thank the team for the excellent job they all did in the course of the season."
The last appointment for Belgian Racing this season is the annual prize giving ceremony in Monaco for the overall win in Group2 for the third consecutive time.
