Spa: Joel Camathias race report

Second place for Joel at Spa 24!

Swiss driver Joel Camathias, driving # 67 Autorlando-Sport Porsche GT3 RSR alongside his Italian team-mates Luigi Moccia and Franco Groppi, finished 2nd in the GT 2 class and 9th overall at the 24H race of Spa. The trio had a perfect race since the beginning, they were constantly quick and ran out of trouble.

Considering this the first-ever 24H race for Joel it`s a brilliant result.

"Oh boys! What`s a long race! I`m really really happy how things going for us. We had a great car, we had a great crew, we had great tyres and I had great team- mates, so many many thanks to Porsche, to Mr. Redolfi [Autorlando-Sport Team Owner] and his boys, to Pirelli, and to Gino [Moccia] and Franco [Groppi]!

It was very difficult to manage a race like this, there were sectors dry and others wet, but we were very focused todrun quick and without any mistakes.

Let me say that to finish 2n and in the top ten overall at Spa 24, it`s really a great pleasure!"
