Coming Up: An Action Packed Weekend in Spa For Matteo Bobbi

After a short break, the FIA GT championship will be heading for the Belgium track of Spa. This action packed weekend is the longest round of the championship: the Proximus 24 hours of Spa.

Matteo Bobbi is highly motivated and is in tip top shape for the 24 hour challenge. Last year, the 24 hour event was disappointing for Matteo who didn't manage to finish the race due to a technical problem with his Ferrari .This time around; the Italian driver knows to expect the unexpected. Scuderia Italia and Bobbi are both well prepared for this exceptional weekend and have worked hard to make the Ferrari more reliable. The FIA GT will be awarding double points for this round and this can be very decisive for Matteo. Bobbi is second in the classification and so a good result can change everything.(He is 8 points behind the leaders)

A tough and gruelling weekend lies ahead but Matteo is calm and concentrated. He knows that the physical demands of this round are many and fatigue can play an important role in this event. However, Matteo is counting on the car's reliability and counts on cutting that finish line on Sunday.

The 24 Hours of Spa will start at 4:00pm on Saturday, July 31st and will finish at 4:00pm on Sunday, August 1st.
