As the 2008 FIA GT season draws ever closer to its finale the Scuderia Ecosse team are hoping to carry the strong pace they showed at Nogaro, just eight days ago, into the penultimate round of the Championship which will take place at Zolder in Belgium this weekend.

With Pirelli continuing to make encouraging progress with the development of their tyres, a strong result at Zolder would be a welcome boost to the team ahead of the final round at San Luis in Argentina next month.

The tight and twisty circuit will once again highlight the importance of taking a good peformance from Saturday’s qualifying session into Sunday's race. The team's driver pairing of Jamie Davies and Fabio Babini have both raced at Zolder in the past and will be out to maximise their grid slot so they can attack as soon as the rolling start gets underway.

The recent updates to car 62 made a postive improvement to the overall performance of the car at Nogaro, and the team are determined to finish the European leg of this season's Championship on a high.

As the last items were loaded into the trucks, Team Principal Stewart Roden commented, "The Team and Pirelli have worked hard over the last few months and we are sure this will be rewarded with a good result in Zolder"

Keep right up to date with the Team’s progress this weekend with the extensive TV coverage now being offered during the 2008 season. The TV Schedule for the UK is as follows: Live Coverage of Round 9 of the FIA GT 2008 Zolder race will be shown on Motors TV (Sky channel 413) throughout the race weekend. Race highlights will be broadcast on ITV4 and Sky Sports (See TV listings for up-to-date schedules).
