Indianapolis, IN - Fall-Line Motorsports heads to the famous "Brickyard" as returning champions after winning last year's Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge (CTSC) race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  The team also remains the championship leaders in the GS category with driver Trent Hindman. Hindman and co-driver John Edwards will be joined by a newcomer to Fall-Line but not to his co-driver with the addition of Joey Atterbury who is a long-time friend and former teammate of Shelby Blackstock.

The #46 drivers of Edwards and Hindman have had an up-and-down season as we pass the halfway point on 2014.  They have started out the season with three consecutive podium finishes including one victory. They faced some adversity in the fifth and sixth rounds but bounced back in the last race in Canada.

The talented duo has remained championship leaders with Hindman (Edwards missed his minimum drive time by seven seconds at Kansas Speedway) and return to a track where both young drivers have had their share of personal success. The  2013 Indy race was Hindman's first professional sportscar race and he qualified his BMW M3 in P3.

#46 Trim-Tex/ Cirocco & Ozzimo/ Atlas Acon/ DFL Interiors/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW driver quotes:

Trent Hindman: "I'm stoked to be heading back to Indy. A lot has changed since the last time we were here, but no doubt that everyone at Fall-Line will be pushing hard to try to bring home another win at the Brickyard. John and I will be doing everything we can to keep the Trim-Tex BMW up front for the whole weekend. A big thank you to our partners Trim-Tex, Cirocco & Ozzimo, Atlas Acon, and DFL Interiors for all of their support so far this season. Definitely excited to get back at it!"

John Edwards: "Trent and I are working really hard to get back to the front and I think we can accomplish that this weekend at Indy."

Joey Atterbury and Shelby Blackstock have a history as co-drivers in CTSC in 2013. They share an unspoken communication that comes from sharing a racecar and driving 2.5-hour races together. They drove together at Indianapolis last year and started P5 before finishing sixth. They know their way around the 2.4-mile course and are determined to capture a podium together.

#48 Starstruck/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW driver quotes:

Shelby Blackstock: "I am very excited for this race at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The new track configuration brings a lot of good racing and should be action packed. I am very happy to be driving with Joey Atterbury again now in the Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3."

Joey Atterbury: "I'm very excited about joining the Fall Line team at Indianapolis, especially to be driving again with Shelby.  To join such a highly regarded team and a car of this potential is a great opportunity at one of the biggest venues IMSA visits.  I know the teamwork that Shelby and I have in driving the car, there is no doubt that the #48 will be up front."

Michael Harvey, Fall-Line Motorsports Team Manager:  "It is great to be back at Indianapolis, we tasted victory here last year and will be trying to repeat. This event marks Trent's one-year anniversary and I am extremely proud of the progress he has made in a short period of time.It is nice to welcome Joey to Fall-Line Motorsports and we are excited to have him back with Shelby for this event, we are all looking for a strong event for the #48. The track configuration has altered from last year so we will have to see how that suits the BMW, but we will be aiming to extend our points lead and repeat the win from 2013."

Practice takes place Thursday, July 24 at 9a and 12:30p ET. Qualifying takes place later that day at 3:30p with the green flag of the race falling on Friday, July 25 at 2:35p.
