IMSA has announced the Grand Prix of Texas, to take place at Texas World Speedway on September 8-10. The event will be presented by Ferrari of Houston and sponsored by Exxon.
The races, according to the Houston Post, will include:
"A three-hour combined endurance race for" Exxon World Sports. "The Exxon Supreme GT series." "A six-hour Street Stock Endurance Championship race." "Two 30 minute sprint races for the Ferrari Challenge."
ESPN will carry show the event on tape delay, one week later.
(Note: I'm not sure what is meant by a combined race for one series. I think they may have meant that the race would combine the WSC and Exxon Supreme GT series.)
