Craig T. Nelson's Screaming Eagles Racing team will finish the season. They have acquired major sponsorship from Slick-50. I will transcribe the press conference when I get home tonight.
GTS --- Johnny O'Connell Nissan 300ZX 1:24.647 Steve Millen Nissan 300ZX 1:24.997 Eric van de Poele Nissan 300ZX Irv Hoerr Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Darin Brassfield Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Martin Snow Porsche 911
After that is when GTO polesitter Tommy Riggins comes. GTU fast qualifier was Jim Pace. Also tonight I will post a transcription from when I asked O'Connell about the future of the GTS class.
Shawn Hendricks and Doc Bundy were fastest in Supercar qualifying, but the top eight will be inverted.
Mark Hotchkis and Diego Guzman will be on the pole for the Barber Saab race, and -- get this -- Jaki Scheckter (sound like a familiar name to you?) will start eighth.
Well, this call is on my dimes, so I'm outta here. I don't know who's leading the Firehawk race at the moment.
