Audi teams performed well again in day 2 of the Daytona tests

As was the case in day 1, the Audi teams performed very well in the second day of TUDOR United SportsCar Championship's Roar Before the Rolex 24 tests at Daytona. It was a titanic battle in all four sessions of the day in the demanding GT Daytona class between the different brands and teams. All four Audi Sport customer racing teams showed great pace with very fast Audi R8 LMS cars.

In third session three Audi R8 LMS cars made it into the top 10 within GT Daytona class. The best ranked Audi R8 LMS was the #45 car from Flying Lizard Motorsport in fourth place with a fastest time of 1:48.472. The #48 Audi from Paul Miller Racing was fifth. The #46 Audi from Fall-Line Motorsports was eighth. The #35 Audi from Flying Lizard Motorsports was twenty-fifth and the #32 Audi from GMG Racing was twenty-sixth.

In the fourth session, the Audi R8 LMS returned to the top with the #48 Audi from Paul Miller Racing. The car shared by drivers René Rast, Christopher Haase, Matt Bell and Bryce Miller set a fastest time of 1:48.535. The #32 Audi from GMG Racing was fifth. The #35 Audi from Flying Lizard Motorsports was fourteenth. The #46 Audi from Fall-Line Motorsports was twenty-third. The #45 Audi from Flying Lizard Motorsports did not take part in the session.

The Audi cars showed strong performances again in the fifth session. The #45 Audi from Flying Lizard Motorsports finished in a good second place. The car driven by Nelson Canache Jr, Spencer Pumpelly, Tim Pappas and Markus Winkelhock with a fastest time of 1:48.459 right behind the leading Porsche 911 GT America. The sister #35 Audi was eighth fastest. The #46 Audi from Fall-Line Motorsports was sixteenth. The #32 Audi from GMG Racing was eighteenth. The #48 Audi from Paul Miller Racing did not take part in the session. The fifth session results can be seen here.

The sixth and final session of the day was another good one for Audi teams with four Audi R8 LMS cars within the top 10. The #45 from Flying Lizard Motorsports was again the leading Audi car in a strong second and a fastest time of 1:48.640. The sister #35 car was fourth. #48 Audi from Paul Miller Racing was fifth. The #32 Audi from GMG Racing was tenth. The #46 Audi from Fall-Line Motorsports did not take part in the session
