Al Carter is flying to Indianapolis to race at the iconic Brickyard, one of his favorite race tracks. Carter has been watching the Indy 500 since he was a child and it is probably at Indy where he got the bug for auto racing. This is Al's third year racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He raced there in 2012 and 2013 with his CTSCC car and last year he also competed in the Rolex Series Brickyard Grand Prix with an Audi R8 and finished 8th in the GT class with co-driver Brett Sandberg who is now his Rebel Rock CTSCC co-driver.

This Thursday and Friday, Al Carter will once again compete in the two series, the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge with Rebel Rock Racing and co-driver Brett Sandberg with the No. 7 Rebel Rock Racing /CarryOn.com/B+ Foundation/Eagle Tech Systems/Sideskinz/Stinkerz Porsche 997 and in the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship with TRG-Aston Martin Racing with the N. 007 CarryOn.com/B+ Foundation/Jetset Magazine/Eagle Tech Systems /Sideskinz/Adobe Road Winery/Royal Purple/Passtime with James Davison.

Al Carter is proud to introduce a new sponsor and travel partner, CarryOn. CarryOn.com is a new social travel site that delivers crowdsourced travel deals and group savings for individual members. CarryOn shoppers follow crowds, share trips with their friends and watch their crowds grow until deals are activated, delivering unparalleled savings. Hotels and airlines review the resulting crowd based demand and non-personally identifiable traveler data to determine unique crowd deals that CarryOn sends to their members. Every shopper has the ability to review the crowd deal before entering their credit card information so that they know exactly where they will stay, which airline they will fly, and what rental car class they will drive before they finalize their decision to buy.

Carter pleased to announce new partner

"I am very pleased to introduce a new partner, CarryOn, to the sport," said Carter. "What a better place to unveil a new sponsor than Indy. CarryOn.com is a social travel site that delivers unmatched crowd sourced travel deals and group savings for individual members. Check them out at CarryOn.com!"

CarryOn's members directly benefit from the travel industry's richest rewards program by earning points immediately after they create an account and continue to earn points when they travel. They also earn points from their friends' trips, perfect for active race fans that enjoy traveling with friends to each speedway on their personal bucket lists. Points are redeemable for free travel without blackout date restrictions.

CarryOn is very excited about our strategic partnership with Al Carter Racing.

Adam Malcolm

"CarryOn is very excited about our strategic partnership with Al Carter Racing," said Adam Malcolm, COO at CarryOn. "Our crowd sourced travel deals are exactly what race teams and fans have told us they want.  By creating or joining a race crowd, everyone saves on their travel.  With so many people traveling to a single location, crowds are naturally formed and volume discounts can be attained.  CarryOn is the first travel company to leverage crowd sourcing to help individuals get the benefit of mass purchasing.  In fact, the more people that join a crowd, the more everyone save."

One of CarryOn's goals is to sign up racing fans in the IMSA racing paddock and let them know about crowdsourced travel deals and group savings to be found at www.carryon.com. Another goal is to develop business relationships with the racing teams and the sponsors and suppliers. CarryOn will have a dedicated person to deal with the teams to handle their travel needs for this season but of course for 2015 and beyond. CarryOn's goal is to negotiate better airfare, rental-car rates and hotel rates on race weekends, two line items that add up to significant expenses for teams at the moment.
